Embark on an immersive voyage through the realms of physical theatre, seamlessly interwoven with cutting-edge technologies. This captivating experience is tailored for those aged 12 and above, as well as adults who once navigated the tumultuous seas of adolescence.
In a format that defies convention, we extend an invitation to our audience to become integral participants in the unfolding tapestry of life itself. As we embark on this collective journey, we ponder the path we shall forge. This performance serves as an intergenerational reflection, weaving together the threads of our transient passage through the tangible and digital realms of existence.
A TEEN ODYSSEY offers a truly unique theatrical experience by collaborating with La Fura dels Baus and the Kalliopé 2 application, enabling the audience to engage with the performers and the environment using their own mobile phones.
This performance delves into pertinent themes for today's youth, including identity, technology, and personal relationships, resonating with adults as well. We contemplate our shared responsibility in addressing the challenges that today's youth face.
A part of the MICA Project - Mediation and Community in Action - this production aims to forge connections between the artistic realm and the community. Under this initiative, we are crafting TEENAGENTS, a social and artistic activation plan directed at the diverse youth of the Balearic Islands.
In the creation of A TEEN ODYSSEY, an artistic committee comprised entirely of young individuals guides us in matters of dramaturgy and aesthetics. This approach to the performing arts encourages open debate and critical thinking, providing insights into the various professions that contribute to the production of a stage performance.
FORMAT
The performance has a duration of approximately 45 minutes and is tailored for an intimate audience of up to 50-60 individuals. Multiple consecutive showings can be accommodated.
A unique blend of participatory and game elements is seamlessly woven into the performance, complemented by a refined physical and visual dimension. This versatile production is designed for unconventional spaces and can be adapted to a multipurpose hall, the grand stages of theatres, or other non-theatrical environments. In this immersive experience, both the audience and the performers share the same area, requiring a minimum of 100m2 of open space.
The ambiance will be shaped significantly by the audience's mobile phones, serving as the source of both soundscapes and lighting, creating a dynamic and interactive atmosphere.
