Jenny Vila - Creative producer and lighting 

Founding member of La Mecànica, theatre maker with a long performing arts teaching background. He has been a member of companies such as Théâtre du Mouvement in Paris, Omnibus in Montreal, and Raravis Danza, La Tal and Agrupación Sr Serrano in Barcelona, amongst others. Director of the latest shows of Circ Bover (Circ Transhumant,  Vincles and Sentinel), trained at Institut del Teatre de Barcelona,  the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, l'École du Mime in Montreal and the studio of Théâtre du Mouvement in Paris. He is also founding member of the physical theatre training center Moveo in Barcelona.

Founding member of La Mecànica, Mallorcan lighting designer and producer, graduated with honours in Production and Technical Theater from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. She has worked with, amongst others, Res de Res En Blanc, Barking Gecko Theater Company, Yirra Yaakin Indigenous Theater Company and Jade Theater Co. She has also produced numerous festivals such as the Edinburgh Fringe, Singapore Music Carrousel, Norfolk & Norwich Festival, Norwich International Puppet Festival, Perth International Arts Festival, Festival Internacional de Teatre Visual i Titelles in Barcelona and Melbourne Festival.

Borja Tous - Performer

Borja Tous is an actor, director and pedagogue. He studied at the School of Dramatic Art of Catalonia. Borja has worked in circus shows, gesture theater, contemporary theater, classical theater and performance. He has also worked in film and numerous television series. He currently resides on the island of Ibiza with his wife and children where he combines his work as an actor with pedagogy (teaching theater at "Studio 8" his center); and as a content creator and director of actors for different events and shows of the Ibizan night scene.

Aina Zanoguera - Performer

Aina Zanoguera is an actress and musician. She studied at the School of Dramatic Art of the Balearic Islands as well as multiple courses with Victoria Szpunberg, Andrea Jaurrieta, Andrés Lima, among others. Aina has worked in textual theater (The Awakening of Spring directed by J. Albinyana), speeches for television and radio commercials (The Womak Group producer), and as a musician with her band. Her last work as an actress was at the opera Carmen as a cover for the character of Carmen, directed by Yves Lenoir at the Teatre Principal in Palma.

Carme Serna - Performer

Graduated in the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona. She received a scholarship to go to Rose Bruford College in London and St. Mineato (Italy), to work on Meyerhold's Biomechanics with Nikolaj Karpov. She is founding member of the Disset Teatre company where she has acted, created and directed several plays, most notably Les Fades de la Bella dorment (FETEN Prize, Stage Prize and Vall d'Albaida Prize). Recently, in co-production with the Teatre Principal, she premiered Re-Cor. She has also worked with other companies and shows such as: Actions- Reactions and Petit Ball by the company Au-Ments; The Marathon, by the company Impaciència, where she won the Best Actress Award at the 2011 Stage Awards. The Comedy of Errors, by Shakespeare, directed by Pitus Fernández. Només quan Plou by Aina de Cos, directed by Fran Arraez.

Mon Joan Tiquat - Sound space

Musician, composer and theater actor. A graduate in Art History from the University of Barcelona and at the same time having studied piano, percussion and cello, he has worked creating music and performing on stage for companies such as La Mecànica, Corcada Teatre, Circ Bover and El Somni productions. He is a member of the music groups Roger Pistola and Xanguito and enjoys improvising on the piano with Diego Ingold. He also teaches Lyric Stage at the Conservatory of the Balearic Islands and is the musical director of Sonrisa Médica. He moves transversally through theater, dance, improvisation, film and opera, mixing, rehearsing and playing.

Alejandro Navarro - Performer

Alejandro Navarro is a clown and physical actor who trained at the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona with the specialty of gestural and visual theater. He completed his training with international wire puppet courses at the Institut International des Arts de la Marionette; and acting at the Stage Prima del Teatro with Nikolai Karpov. He has worked for eleven years at Pallapupas Clowns Hospital.

 

In his work as an actor we can highlight "Encore un heure si courte" by Théâtre du Mouvement and La Mecànica and "La venus de Wilendorf" at the TNC directed by Yago Pericot among others.

Gypsy Nello Peeters - Performer

Catalan performer and creator, resident in Mallorca. Graduated in Dramatic Art from ESADIB. She participates in projects that include text and body work, combined with music and singing of various formats and for different audiences (El Somni Produccions, La Contrapiel Teatro, Centimets Teatre, Viatge al món de n'Aina, cia. UnaiUna). She has participated in workshops focused on movement, performance, creation at public space and expressive and creative work of text with different professionals such as United Cowboys, Sergi Estebanell, Theatre Fragile and cie. Willi Dorner (SPASA - FiraTàrrega), Pablo Messiez. Member of the Güilis Collective, based on research, intervention and creation in public space, community and territory. Her interest in artistic creation has led her too in teaching through different languages and content, exploring the potential of performing arts as an engine for intervention in social change. Member of La Lioparda Theatre, she works in shows and performances focused on the body, feminism, gender and sexuality dissidences through the theatre of the oppressed.

Marga Salas - Scientific Advisor

Marga has a degree in Psychology from the University of Barcelona, with a certificate as a general health psychologist.  

She is studying for a Master's degree in Artistic and Creative Therapies, a Master's degree in Child Psychology, and is also studying Systemic Family Therapy. She has also trained in different active and self-taught pedagogies.  

She has worked as a psychologist in the Social Services of the City of Manacor, Santanyí and Llucmajor, combining it with private practice in different centers. She has also been associated with the General Directorate of Minors.  

On the other hand, she has worked as an accompanist and teacher in schools of innovative pedagogies.

She combines her work as a psychologist with her dedication to dance, directing choreographies for musicals, participating as a dancer in different projects or as a consultant. She organizes dance workshops and has created the Dans'illot festival.

She is currently working on her own psychology and dance projects.

Paula Vila - Educational project

Teacher of Primary Education (UB, 2012) in continuous training in active pedagogies (Escola Lliure Sol, 2011; Iogainens 2015; Holistic Pedagogy Ecoescola Sa Llavor, 2015) and respectful support of the child (Mallorca Free School Group, 2013). He has participated in social intervention projects (NGO EMCI, 2009; Tertúlies Literàries La Verneda, 2010; Casal de l'Infant del Raval, 2011). She is committed to childhood and nature and combines her vocation as a Teacher with her interests in science, agriculture, love of animals (Postgraduate in Equine Therapy, UAB 2012) and ecology. He also enjoys writing stories and walking alone through the scrub at night.

Jonathan Holloway - Artistic advisor

Jonathan has directed over twenty productions and co-written eight, including Robin Hood for the Royal National Theatre in London, and Elemental, the centrepiece of Chalons-dans-la-Rue Festival in France. 

 

He founded and ran the National Theatre's Watch This Space Festival (UK), and has been Artistic Director of the Norfolk & Norwich Festival (UK),  Melbourne International Arts Festival (Aus), and Perth International Arts Festival (Aus).

Juanro Campos - Technical Manager

Technical training: Graduated in Higher Degree of Sound at CP Villar in Barcelona. Since 2004 he has worked as a freelance technician providing lighting, sound and video services to theatre, dance and circus companies, including: La Mecànica, Iguana Teatre, Res de Res, Mariantònia Oliver, Produccions de Ferro, En Blanc, Produccions del Mar, Deu Cèntims Theatre, Cultural-ment. Technical coordinator at AAEE festivals and events.

Teacher for theater technicians in Mallorca for the manipulation of QLAB. Technician at different theaters on the Island: Teatre del Mar, Teatre Principal de Palma, Teatre de Manacor.
He is currently Robert Wilson's UBU technical coordinator.
